Can Malfoy Be Blamed for What He Did?

I say he should be. However, when you think about it, did he have a choice? Voldemort would have killed him if he hadn't. But, should that be an excuse? He put his life above everyone elses. So, I think he's to blame.

But Draco didn't kill him. He didn't really have the 'courage' to kill him, because Dumbledore & him had like a little conversation before, and Dumbledore knew he was going to die..

He let the Death Eaters into Hogwarts, though.

I thank he should be blamed for it because he let the death eaters in and he was told to by the baddest wizerd in the wrold.I wonder how if he really know he was going to die?

Yes, he knew people would die. He did it to save himself.

He knew that if he didn't find a way to get the Death Eaters into Hogwarts that Voldemort would kill him, and maybe he would even kill his family. So, in order to keep this from happening, he let them into Hogwarts where he knew they would kill students/teachers.

I thought Malfoy let them in.

Voldemort chose Draco to find a way for the Death Eaters to enter Hogwarts.

Yeah, he had a choice he didn't have to work for them he's always acting strong and tough so why not now draco WHY NOT NOW!?!?!?

He dosn't like people dying that's why he could't do it.

Well, I'm not so sure what to think. Like, on the one hand, he did let the Death Eaters in, but there's more to it than that. From the start, it was clear that Draco didn't like the position he was thrust in and was really conflicted about what to do. Think about it from his perspective: you're a 16 year old kid who's been ordered to kill the Headmaster/principal of your school. If you don't, you'll be killed, and your family will suffer at the hand of a group similar to the Nazis. Chances are, you probably won't be thinking clearly, and might end up making the wrong decision.
